I have a suggestion, complaint or something else that I desparately
want to tell you!
It's a fun guessing game where people make guesses on the weight, date and gender
of an as yet unborn baby. Friends and family of the expectant parents can make bets
on these categories and the parents keep track of these bets and when the baby is
born a winner is declared.
This website should make managing a sweepstake for your baby a lot easier - you
can contact your friends online and you can all have a look at who's bet what if
that's what you want. I'm afraid we don't offer a prize for the winner!
Well, if you haven't already you need to register with the website. Then you can
log in and select the option to create a new sweepstake. Once you've done that you
can write a short message for people making bets, upload a photo, enter a due date
and voila - now you just have to let people know about it. If you already know some
details - either the birth date if you already know it, or the gender if you've
had a scan - then you can enter these details in already and people won't have to
guess them!
This is for you to decide - you have the option to make you sweepstake available
for all to see and bet on, or, if you'd rather, you can keep it a more private affair
where users can only make bets if they've been given a link to your indivdual sweepstake.
You can recommend to a friend this website, or simply email them a link to your
sweepstake if you'd rather. Or if you actually speak to them (in 'real life') you
might mention it then :-)
When you get a moment - I imagine life is busier than it was a couple
of weeks back - log in and on the "Manage Your Sweepstake" page there is an option
to close your sweepstake. Enter the details of your newborn baby and then we'll
work out the winner and notify all of the sweepstake's participants by email automatically!
The winner is the person or people who guessed everything exactly right. Failing
this an accuracy score is awarded as a percentage, taking into account weight, date
of birth and gender, all weighted equally. The winner is then whoever has the closest
to 100%.
